Since 2006, Nottingham’s annual Hockley Hustle music and arts festival has raised over £130,000 for local charities and in 2017 birthed the Young Hustlers festival specifically aimed at the cities younger generations, it really didn’t seem fair the youngsters missed out on all the festival fun! As a part of Young Hustlers, Nottingham’s Young Poet Laureate, Georgina Wilding, collaborated with the young people of Nottingham to write a poem.
The poem written will be installed around Hockley and proudly represents the voices and ideas of Nottingham’s younger generations, as well as the independent and creative spirits of Nottingham.
