Crosswords Open Mic, the popular local spoken word night, is going on a bit of an adventure for the Nottingham Poetry Festival! We’re heading to Hockley’s most eclectic vintage and second-hand shop for a fantastic night of shared words, in aid of the Sue Ryder charity. We’ll have plenty of open mic slots available, plus a showcase from staff and service-users, speaking about the work that Sue Ryder does in the local community. Arrive from 7:30pm on the night to book your short open mic slot. Or you can just come along to listen – everyone’s welcome! Entry is £2 per person and 100% of the takings will go to Sue Ryder.
