Critically acclaimed and publicly adored, Wendy Cope OBE is one of world poetry’s most revered figures. We are delighted to welcome her to the festival, along with playwright and poet Stephen Lowe.

Stephen Lowe’s recent plays in Nottingham include his Brian Clough, Old Big ‘Ead and Touched. His television includes Scarlet and Black with Ewan McGregor and Rachel Weisz and a hundred episodes of Coronation Street. He is co-artistic director of Meeting Ground Theatre with his wife Tanya Myers. His musical Changing Fashion tours in 2018 and he is President of Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature.

Lily Lowe-Myers, actress, singer and playwright. Director of Hatstand Productions. Fed up of being cast as yet another blond who gets murdered, Lily decided to write the parts she’d ‘die’ to play. She’s currently writing (procrastinating) her fifth all-female show following her previous four international productions.
