A Poetry Slam with cash prizes – first £30, second £20, third £15.

Up to 20 entrants.

First come, first served.

Three minutes each in first round.

Six poets selected for a second round, for final awards of first, second, third.

Our judge is Martin Grey, a Nottingham-based poet, originally from Guildford, and mostly writing about connection, empathy, love, childhood and roundabouts. His first collection, The Pretty Boys of Gangster Town, was published in 2020 by Fly on the Wall Press. He presents Poetry Global Network’s The Poetry News and is co-director of World Jam, a non-profit for connecting communities through poetry and music.
