Poets Telling Stories is a fantastic double bill of long-form spoken word, brought to you by local poets Frank McMahon and Leanne Moden.

DENIM AND LEATHER BY FRANK MCMAHON
Denim and leather is a set of autobiographical poems based on growing up in Wolverhampton, with the preoccupations of childhood, snooker, rock music, politics, rebellion and football. There will be props and costume changes!

SKIP, SKIP, SKIP BY LEANNE MODEN
“Don’t worry about what you’re wearing, as long as what you’re wearing is black.” Skip, Skip, Skip is a show about music, discovering your identity, and the lengths we all go to fit in. It’s a vulnerable, funny, honest and thought-provoking performance, exploring isolation, personal transformations and the ways in which we define ourselves. Join Leanne for bad dancing, black lipstick and the highs and lows of accidentally becoming a teenage goth!
