Spoken word Poet and Performer – Lois Grace Brown invites you to Join her as she presents a collection of poetry reflecting on the journey through and to Recovery. The poetry is a selection of works is written from my own personal lived experience of Addiction, Trauma and Mental Health Battles. I am passionate about connecting with the community through words. Using my own experiences to help people feel LESS alone, MORE ENCOURAGED and HOPEFULLY empowered! I explore a wide range of themes that may have caused someone to require their own journey of recovery. I would hope that people would attend this event and be stimulated to write about their own stories, and use their voices to encourage and inspire change.
