The Voice Within is a 2‑hour online poetry and mindfulness session
This gentle, spacious session is designed for anyone who feels the pull to write but finds the words hiding. Together, we slow down, soften the edges of the day, and create a safe, inclusive space where expression can unfold in its own time. Through grounding practices, sensory noticing, and mindful creative prompts, we explore the quiet places where poetry begins — not in pressure or performance, but in presence.
You’ll be guided through calming embodiment techniques, accessible writing invitations, and moments of shared reflection that honour every voice, including the silent ones. Cameras can be on or off, participation can be verbal, written, or simply witnessed. Neurodiverse ways of engaging — stimming, doodling, moving, pausing — are welcomed.
This session is for anyone seeking connection with their inner voice, whether you’re new to writing or returning to it. Expect a nurturing atmosphere, gentle pacing, and prompts that help you listen inward, gather fragments, and shape them into something true.
